What We’ve Been Up to This Month

Well, July is over and it’s been a very, very busy month for us here. As most of you know, probably because I’ve talked about nothing but this in class, we hosted a homestay guest from New Zealand for the past couple of weeks. She went home last Tuesday after a ten day stay. Kelly was a totally gracious guest and it was really fun to have her here. The program, called the Asia Pacific Children’s Convention (or APCC) hosted 40 some groups from 35 countries around the Pacific and South Asia. If you want more information on the APCC, you can find it Here (English) or Here (Japanese). They do some amazing work and if you are at all interested, you can get involved quite easily I think.

As far as Kelly’s stay here, we did all sorts of things. It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words, so, take a look:

Just click on Slideshow when it takes you to the Google photo album. For some reason I cannot make the player embed here. My computer skills are not as good as they should be.

Enjoy.
